About the sunbed
The K9S is the top model of the megaSun K series from the German manufacturer KBL. Its exterior was designed by Etienne Salomé, known for his work for Bugatti.
Face and shoulders
Six SunSphere Pro LED units cover the face and décolleté. They combine UVA LEDs with aspherical lenses, UVB LEDs and red beauty LEDs. According to KBL, the K9S is the first sunbed to use UVB LEDs in the face area instead of classic T5 lamps. Two separate SunSphere LED tanners cover the shoulders.
Light configurations
KBL builds this model in three configurations:
- hybridSun: 32 tanning lamps and 20 smartSunlight lamps, which combine tanning light and beauty light in one lamp.
- extraSun: 46 tanning lamps and 6 extraSunlight lamps with a higher UVB share.
- vitaSun: tanning lamps, smartSunlight lamps and blue-light lamps together.

During your session
AirBreeze directs air separately to the face, body and feet. Air conditioning keeps the cabin temperature even, and AquaCool cools you with a fine mist. You choose the settings on the 10-inch screen outside before the session; the 7-inch screen inside switches to dark mode during the session, and the bed guides you by voice.
Who it suits
